Tina and I really enjoy kayaking. We have done most of our kayaking in the Lake Tahoe area.

We started out borrowing our neighbors tandem kayak and had a lot of fun. It was heavy and hard to transport so when we looked at kayaks to purchase, light weight was a priority. We found some Stellar kayaks that were used but in great condition. Since then we also bought some inflatable kayaks that we will be able to use on long trips. They work pretty good and easier to store and keep safe from the sun and thieves. There are times that we need to get a hotel and it would be difficult getting a couple 15 ft kayaks in any hotel.

Right now we have a few extra kayaks which will be nice for when friends want to join us. I will add plenty of pics from our journeys, I hope everyone enjoys.
